I am probably one of many who never paid attention to what’s written on the moving boxes. One day, a flattened U-Haul moving box was sitting next to my computer desk, I decided to read… and learned never-known green tips!

U-Haul’s 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)

- Reduce the waste of overbought moving boxes: U-Haul 100% buy-back of any unused U-Haul box with receipt at any U-Haul center nationwide.

- Reuse the same box for at least four times and give/trade with others after your move: According to the box, one moving box can be used for at least four times. There are four identical check list of what’s-inside-the-box. Also, U-Haul offers online box exchange message board to trade or sell your reusable boxes and moving supplies.

- Recycle properly once finally the box is worn-out: Find a drop-off location at earth911.org
